I offer resources in the form of book recommendations, consultations, and coaching for parents interested in support. I have been on both sides of the story. I worked out of the house trying to balance it all when my kids were little for about 5 years before I decided to go back into the field of child care. I sent my 2 youngest to a couple different local child care centers. This always inspired me to open up my own child care program as I never could quite find what I was looking for in these other facilities. I have struggled trying to “do it all” so I know what if feels like being a working parent with the ups and downs, the mommy guilt, and the stress of it all. I want to offer the support that I wish I had when I was in that season.
I hold a certification as a Life Coach and continue to grow in this area of health and wellness. I believe we all have what it takes to become the best version of ourselves. Each day is a clean slate to start again. We have the freedom to make healthy choices and to do better than we did yesterday. We are the authors of our story, if we don’t like how it is going, we can rewrite it. Children are a gift and how we live our lives will set the stage for them. Before the age of 5 our little ones are like sponges and they pick up on our vibrations such as anxiety, stress, sadness, love, joy. Our reactions to them and how we express ourselves will rub off onto them. Some children will not be affected by this, but those predisposed to certain emotions will assimilate those unhealthy emotions as a learned response. Being aware of our own emotions while working on achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is one of the best gifts we can give our children,
